Class Features

?? Weapon and Armor Proficiency :: One simple weapon and no armor. !!

?? Caster Type/Prime Attribute :: Selection of a Caster Type determines the Prime Attribute used for casting, how many bonus slots are available, and an additional starting bonus feat. Wizards get Scribe Scroll as a bonus feat, sorcerers get eschew components, and clerics get a choice of Channel Energy or Wild Empathy
?? Prime Attribute :: Each mage must select one attribute from Intelligence, Charisma, or Wisdom that determines spell access and selects the caster type. An Intelligence-based mage is the classical wizard that prepares spells using a spell book of known spells and uses the wizard/sorcerer spell list. A Charisma-based mage is a sorcerer that knows a more limited number of spells, but can cast them in any combination up to a daily limit and also uses the wizard/sorcerer spell list. The Wisdom-based mage is the cleric and must choose from the cleric spell lists. Each spell list requires a prime attribute score of 10 + the spell level. Additionally, this choice of prime attribute determines if the character receives bonus spell slots/readied spells based upon the attribute score.
?? Spellcasting :: A mage can cast a certain number of spells per day and gains access to new spells as her training progresses. A mage must choose at 1st level whether to be an arcane caster or a divine caster. A divine caster may select spells from the cleric or druid spell lists and an arcane caster must select from the sorcerer/wizard spell list. It also affects what kinds of scrolls she can use and which ability score controls her spell casting. An arcane mage may designate either Intelligence or Charisma as the ability score that determines the highest-level spell she can learn or cast, and the Difficulty Class of her spell's-saving throws. A divine mage must use Wisdom to determine the highest-level spell she can learn or cast, and the DC of her spell's saving throws. !!
