====== Hindsight ======

I wake up in a daze and my life flashes before my eyes,\\
I see people who surround me as I lay in a bed of disease,\\
I vaguely remember one man but sometimes my mind lies,\\
I cannot remember.

I stare into a woman's eyes and they give warm love,\\
But yet I cannot remember her name.\\
I silently pray for a savior from above,\\
My mind misgives me.

A black ring begins to form around the edge of my vision,\\
A young girl whose name I forget leans over to hug me,\\
I close my eyes for they are blurry and wait for redemption,\\
I feel a slight touch on my forehead as if a kiss

The light is before me.........I am at peace.
